1. Who we are
1.1 This Privacy Policy explains how Slotmetry S.r.l., VAT no. IT18738091000, registered office Via Gerolamo Fracastoro 2, Rome, Italy (Slotmetry) processes personal data, as data controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.
1.2 For any privacy question or request, contact privacy@slotmetry.com. Slotmetry has not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as it is not required to.
2. Scope
2.1 This Policy covers the website slotmetry.com, the Slotmetry platform, its reports, Slotmetry AI and email newsletters, and the ordering and billing process.
2.2 The data shown in the Service (games, providers, lobby positions, catalogues) concerns products and companies, not people. Slotmetry collects only information publicly visible on operators’ websites and does not collect player accounts, player data or other personal data from those websites.
3. Data we collect
- Account data: name, business email, role and company of each user of the platform.
- Contract and billing data: name, role and email of the person who signs or completes the order, the legal representative and the contact person; company billing details.
- Usage data: login records, IP address, device and browser information, actions in the platform (such as reports opened, filters applied and use of Slotmetry AI), newsletter settings.
- Communications: messages sent to support or to Slotmetry by email or through forms, including contact and demo requests.
- Website data: request logs (IP address, page, browser), technical cookies and cookieless site analytics, as described in section 9.4.
Card payments are handled by Slotmetry’s payment provider: Slotmetry does not receive or store full card numbers.
Slotmetry does not collect special categories of data (art. 9 GDPR) and does not profile individuals or take automated decisions about them.
4. Why we use the data and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Providing the Service: accounts, reports, Slotmetry AI, newsletters, support | Performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b) |
| Handling orders, contact and demo requests | Performance of the contract or pre-contractual steps (art. 6.1.b) |

| Improving the Service through aggregated usage statistics | Legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f) |
| Information on similar services to existing customers | Legitimate interest and art. 130.4 of Decree 196/2003, with an opt-out in every message |
| Establishing or defending legal claims | Legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f) |
Providing account and contract data is necessary to use the Service: without it, Slotmetry cannot create accounts or fulfil the Order.
Where processing relies on legitimate interest, Slotmetry has assessed that it does not override the rights of the people concerned, who may object at any time.
5. Slotmetry AI
5.1 Questions asked to Slotmetry AI and the answers generated are processed by Slotmetry’s AI provider (section 6.1) only to generate the answer.
5.2 Users should not include personal data or third-party confidential information in their questions.
5.3 Slotmetry AI does not take decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
6. Who receives the data
6.1 Slotmetry runs the Service on infrastructure and services provided by a small number of third parties, which process personal data on Slotmetry’s behalf as data processors, under data processing agreements, and only to provide their service to Slotmetry: never for their own purposes. They are providers of cloud hosting and database services, user authentication, AI models, email delivery and site analytics, established in the European Union or bound by the safeguards described in section 6.3. The current list of providers is available on request. Slotmetry also shares personal data with its professional advisers (such as accountants and lawyers), with public authorities where the law requires it, and with a buyer in the event of a corporate transaction.
6.2 Slotmetry does not sell personal data or share it for third-party marketing.
6.3 Slotmetry runs its infrastructure in the European Union and relies on providers established there wherever possible. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the safeguards of the GDPR: an adequacy decision of the European Commission or its Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep the data
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account data and newsletter settings | For the subscription; the record of each user (name, business email, seat dates) is kept with the contract, 10 years |
| Usage data and logs (sign-ins, pages opened, the text of Slotmetry AI questions) | Up to 6 months |
| Slotmetry AI usage counters per user (questions and tokens per day) | With the contract, 10 years: the record of what each seat consumed |
| Contracts, orders and invoices | 10 years, as required by Italian law |
| Contact and demo requests not followed by a contract | 24 months |
| Data for information on similar services | Until the customer relationship ends or the recipient opts out |
After these periods, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised. Anonymised usage data, from which no user or customer can be identified, may be kept to improve the Service.
8. Your rights
8.1 Under articles 15–22 of the GDPR, you may ask Slotmetry for access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting processing carried out before. You may object to direct marketing at any time.
8.2 Requests can be sent to privacy@slotmetry.com. Slotmetry will reply within one month, free of charge; the period may be extended for complex requests.
